Antique Rustic 800mm Versailles

Situated in the inner-city Sydney suburb of Potts Point, this stunning home is the result of a brief that challenged designer Tamsin Johnson to explore the architectural, interior design and styling elements to create a seamless cohesion between old and new.  Opulent heavy veined marble, stunning artworks, high-end fixtures and furniture, all sit on a foundation of Havwoods Versailles Antique timber flooring. Located in the beautiful borough of Chelsea is the Farrier Walk project. A residential space in need of rejuvenation, architect Nancy Gouldstone was chosen to reimagine this characterful London home. Products Used: HW2046 Lucerne Herringbone | HW1391 Antique Versailles

To create this unique Las Vegas hotel’s ambiance, Stonehill Taylor and Sydell Group chose Havwoods’ Versailles pattern and a deep brown bespoke chevron wood flooring in the restaurant and bar areas. The design is “a nod to the classic glamour and whimsy of Vegas”. The NoMad Restaurant is as impressive in size as it is in style, treating guest with wall shelving featuring 25,000 books and live jazz. The NoMad Bar, which is grounded with Havwoods Versailles patterned floors, has taken home a number of awards including being named “Best Bar in North America”, named No.4 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list and was Eater’s “Restaurant of The Year”.

Designers Virgile and Partners wanted to continue the complex graphic-shaped flooring, created in tiles of varying colours and sizes throughout the store, into the private dining room and the first floor beauty rooms, but using wood for greater warmth.

As part of the challenging project of repositioning Sydney’s Four Seasons as the principal hotel in the city, Dreamtime, the award-winning Australian design company, were tasked with creating a complete floor of meeting and function rooms. Product: HW1391 Antique
